As a centuries-old family business, we know the importance of a thriving workplace environment. This is essential not only for ourselves but also all of our employees, most of whom come from the region and have been employed at the Hanswirt for many years. The fine, ornate details of our interior are also created by local craftsmen. Our regular and returning guests are proof that we’re on the right track.
Our commitment to our people and the environment is evident in the many small, well-thought-out details. Our organic farm is a great example. The Laimer host family pick fresh herbs or harvests grapes every day, always striving to offer guests unique, and at the same time sustainable, enjoyment from the region. Operating sustainably also means creating the right framework. For example, we heat our cosy rooms without fossil fuels and have optimised water consumption. Together with you, we have been learning while doing every day since 1357 so that we can pass on our farm and an intact environment to the next generations.
