We recommend exploring one of these centuries-old irrigation channels connecting meadows and fields during a picturesque hike through the Val Venosta region or the area close to your unique accommodation in Merano. If you want to go a little higher, the impressive and demanding three-thousand-metre peaks are ideal for getting a bird’s eye view. If that's still not enough, you can put your abseiling and climbing skills to the test against the backdrop of the thundering waters of the famous Parcines waterfall. The pace is a little more leisurely through the meadows and alpine pastures featuring breathtaking views of the surrounding area. For those who prefer to hop on a bike, whether self-propelled or electric, there is the Val Venosta cycle path, amongst others, with its 120 kilometres passing through picturesque villages, forests and orchards. City and mountain bikes can be rented at the Hanswirt, as can our e-bikes, of course. It's best to reserve your bike the day before at the latest.
